Exhaust gas treatment towers are critical equipment in industrial environmental protection for purifying waste gases. They remove harmful substances from exhaust gases through physical and chemical processes to meet environmental emission standards. The operating principle of exhaust gas treatment towers primarily relies on gas-liquid contact to achieve pollutant absorption or conversion. The flow patterns of gas and liquid phases within the tower can be either counter-current or co-current, with counter-current operation being the standard approach. The absorbent is introduced at the top of the tower and flows downward, contacting the upward-moving gas stream. The liquid, now saturated with the absorbed substances, is discharged from the tower bottom, while the purified gas exits from the top. These towers find extensive application across industrial sectors including chemical processing, electronics manufacturing, electroplating, textile dyeing, pharmaceutical production, steel fabrication, and power generation. They effectively treat various harmful exhaust gases generated during production processes—such as acidic gases, alkaline gases, and organic solvent vapors—to reduce pollutant emissions and safeguard both the environment and human health.
